Through the generous support of donors, the NOVA Foundation can offer the scholarships listed on this website. To apply for these scholarships, click “Sign Up” to create an account and follow the instructions provided in the NOVA Scholarship Tutorial to apply for these opportunities before the scholarship application deadline noted below.

You may submit one general application to be considered for multiple “auto match” NOVA Foundation scholarships during the current scholarship application cycle. After submitting your general application, you may be presented with additional recommended scholarship opportunities that you may apply for individually.

There are three scholarship application cycles (fall, spring and summer) per academic year that are based on the date of the scholarship application deadline. When the application deadline falls within a particular semester then that scholarship is associated with the scholarship cycle for that semester. Spring and summer cycle scholarships are generally awarded for the upcoming academic year. Scholarships with a deadline in the fall term are typically awarded for that fall term and the upcoming spring term.

NOVA offers different scholarships during three separate application periods each year. You are encouraged to apply for additional scholarships each cycle.

• The application period for NOVA’s Spring 2023 Cycle will be open from January 17, 2023, through February 17, 2023 (Recipients will be notified in May 2023. Scholarships will be awarded for 2023 – 2024 enrollment, which begins with the Fall 2023 semester).
• The application period for NOVA’s Summer 2023 Cycle will be open from May 8, 2023, through May 29, 2023 (Recipients will be notified in July 2023. Scholarships will be awarded for 2023 – 2024 enrollment, which begins with the Fall 2023 semester).
• The application period for NOVA’s Fall 2023 Cycle will be open from August 28, 2023, through September 29, 2023 (Recipients will be notified in November 2023. Scholarships will be awarded for the Spring 2024 semester).

Future Scholarship Application Periods for the 2024 – 2025 Academic Year

• Spring 2024 Cycle: January 2024 – February 2024 (Scholarships will be awarded for 2024 – 2025 enrollment, which begins with the Fall 2024 semester).
• Summer 2024 Cycle: May 2024 – June 2024 (Scholarships will be awarded for 2024 – 2025 enrollment, which begins with the Fall 2024 semester).
• Fall 2024 Cycle: August 2024 – September 2024 (Scholarships will be awarded for 2024 – 2025 enrollment, which begins with the Fall 2024 semester).
