Silverthorn Scholarship

The Northern Virginia Community College Educational Foundation and the College Financial Aid Office are pleased to announce the availability of the Silverthorn Scholarship.

To be eligible for the Silverthorn Scholarship, the following criteria must be met:

• Recipient must be a first-generation college student
• Recipient must demonstrate financial need
• Recipient must be enrolled full time or part-time (6 credit hours or more)
• Recipient must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5

The scholarship can be used for tuition, books, and supplies.

DACA and undocumented students are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Applicants will automatically be matched to this opportunity if all qualifications are met.
