Nan Peck Memorial Scholarship (Annandale Only)

The Northern Virginia Community College Educational Foundation and the College Financial Aid Office are pleased to announce the availability of the Nan Peck Memorial Scholarship.

Nan Peck was a beloved Professor of Communications Studies at NOVA’s Annandale Campus for 35 years. She retired in 2018 and was named a Professor Emeritus by NOVA’s College Board.

After retiring, Professor Peck was a teacher and leader in the Lifetime Learning Institute (LLI) at the Annandale Campus. She passed away in 2022 and this scholarship is offered by LLI in her memory.

To be eligible for the Nan Peck Memorial Scholarship, the following criteria must be met:

• Recipient must be placed in the Associate Degree in Liberal Arts program
• Recipient must have the Annandale Campus as the home campus
• Recipient must be enrolled part-time or full-time
• Recipient must demonstrate financial need
• Recipient must demonstrate academic merit
• Preference will be given to students in the Associate Degree in Liberal Arts with a Specialization in Communication Studies program

The scholarship can be used for tuition, books, and supplies.

Applicants will automatically be matched to this opportunity if all qualifications are met.
