REACH IN US Single Parent Nursing Scholarship

The Northern Virginia Community College Educational Foundation and the College Financial Aid Office are pleased to announce the availability of the REACH IN US Single Parent Nursing Scholarship.

This scholarship is for students in the NOVA Nursing program who are single parents. This scholarship is renewable and may be used by the recipient for the duration of their Nursing studies.

To be eligible for the REACH IN US Single Parent Nursing Scholarship, the following criteria must be met:

• Recipient must be a single parent
• Recipient must have exhausted all of the financial aid for which recipient is qualified
• Recipient must pay in-state tuition
• Recipient must be in good academic standing
• Recipient must be academically eligible for the NOVA Nursing program
• Recipient must show proof of acceptance into the NOVA Nursing program
• Recipient must have a recommendation from a NOVA Nursing program faculty member

The scholarship can be used for tuition, books, and supplies. Scholarship award finalists will move on to a second round with a remote panel interview. Participation in this interview is required.
