Joseph Windham Endowed Memorial Scholarship

The Northern Virginia Community College Educational Foundation and the College Financial Aid Office are pleased to announce the availability of the Joseph E. Windham Endowed Memorial Scholarship. The Joseph E. Windham Scholarship honors the memory of Dr. Joseph E. Windham, Professor of History, whose caring manner and engaging personality gave confidence and skills to two generations of students. This scholarship is to support a NOVA—Alexandria Campus student who is majoring in Liberal Arts or Social Sciences and who is passionate about social and/or environmental justice.

Criteria:

  • Full-time enrollment
  • Field of Study: Major in Liberal Arts or Social Sciences.
  • Field of Interest: Demonstrated interest in social and/or environmental justice.
  • Must have completed between 15 and 55 credit hours at NOVA and plan to continue at NOVA to complete an Associate of Arts Degree.
  • Home Campus: Alexandria
