Biology Recognition Scholarship (Annandale Campus)

The Northern Virginia Community College Educational Foundation and the College Financial Aid Office are pleased to announce the availability of the Annandale Campus Biology Recognition Scholarship for the 2024 – 2025 academic year.

To be eligible for the Annandale Campus Biology Recognition Scholarship, the following criteria must be met:

• Recipient must be placed in a science-related program of study with an emphasis in biology
• Recipient must attend classes on the Annandale Campus
• Recipient must have completed one semester in a 100-level Biology class and must have received a 4.0 grade in that class
• Recipient must have a recommendation from a biology faculty member
• Recipient may be a full-time or part-time student

The award is to be used to pay for tuition and books for a 4-credit, 200-level Biology course. Award may also be used to pay for student membership in a professional association, such as the Vertebrate Zoology Association
