Sasscer Family Scholarship
The Northern Virginia Community College Educational Foundation and the College Financial Aid Office are pleased to announce the availability of the Sasscer Family Scholarship.
To be eligible for the Sasscer Family Scholarship, the following criteria must be met:
• Recipient must be enrolled full-time or part-time
• Recipient must be a current or former ESL student
• Recipient must provide proof of satisfactory progress in ESL classes or in academic coursework
• Recipient must write an essay as shown in the supplemental questions below
• Recipient must submit letters of recommendation from two faculty members, one of whom should be an ESL instructor
