Brian E. Hansen Writing Center Endowed Scholarship (Loudoun Campus Only)

The Northern Virginia Community College Educational Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of the Brian E. Hansen Writing Center Scholarship. One scholarship of $500 is available for the 2018-2019 academic year. The scholarship may be used for tuition, books, and supplies at Northern Virginia Community College as stated in NVCC Educational Foundation Scholarship Policy. Recipient a must be a Loudoun Campus student majoring in the Humanities or social sciences, Student may be attending NOVA or a four-year university. If attending a four-year university, an official document indicating attendance at that university must be submitted to the Financial Aid office by the scholarship deadline, and preference will be given to students who have worked at least one full semester at the Loudoun Campus Interdisciplinary Writing Center. A letter from the Writing Center Supervisor must be sent to the Financial Aid office (address below) verifying the time of employment. The letter must be received by the scholarship deadline and indicate the name of the scholarship in addition to the student who is applying.
