Laura Garcia-Moreyra Automotive Scholarship

The Northern Virginia Community College Educational Foundation and the College Financial Aid Office are pleased to announce the availability of the Laura Garcia-Moreyra Automotive Scholarship. Recipient must program placed in Automotive curriculum, must have completed 24 credit hours, a US citizen, eligible for in-state tuition, and demonstrate financial need by completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Student must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA. Student must submit an essay “Why you want a career in automotive repair and what are you career goals or objectives for the next 10 years”.

Selection made by two faculty members of the Automotive Department at the Alexandria campus. Top three finalist sent to Laura Garcia-Moreyra for final selection. Donor will read the selected finalist essay.
