Advance Prevention Lawsuit Legal Scholarship
Lawsuit Legal is pleased to announce an annual sponsorship award of $1,000 for U.S. high school seniors seeking a degree in an accredited four year university. The program will be awarded for the first time in 2016, and will continue annually to provide opportunity and support in the form of financial awards to students working to build skills and advance their education for use in service of their communities.

Entrants are encouraged to provide an analysis on how injuries and fatalities resulting from preventable accidents reach beyond crash victims to those left behind and the community as a whole. Creative ideas for reducing accident rates and reckless / impaired driving in teenage drivers to reduce needless injury and death are welcome.
To be eligible for this award, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be entering freshman year (or attending first year) in college
Plan to declare a major in any field of study
Be a U.S. citizen or have permanent residency
In addition to the application form provided below, applicants must provide a copy of their high school transcripts, SAT or ACT scores and any recommendation letters and indicate the university they attend or are enrolled in for their freshman year.
Submissions for the award will be evaluated by a panel of private judges based on the presentation provided in conjunction with their achievement records and any leadership activity, volunteer work or other extra-curricular activities they were involved in.

By highlighting the impact reckless driving can have on the community, we hope students nationwide will join in working to prevent teenage driving injuries and fatalities. By reflecting and sharing on the terrible and far reaching consequences impaired driving can have, we hope the work will help reduce preventable reckless driving accidents and underage drinking related injuries.
Failure to provide the completed application along with the materials requested above will result in the applicant being denied consideration for the the scholarship award. Applicants who wish to be considered must follow the scholarship rules outlined above to the best of their ability and make sure all requested materials are received by the submission deadline.
“This scholarship represents our commitment to giving back to our communities. It’s an opportunity to further the work towards preventing tragedy, while providing financial support for the advancement of our exceptional youth,” stated Mr. Pryor.
